A topic essay, by Oana Mosutiu

Nowadays we are able to find out about any famous person's life only by browsing the internet for a couple of minutes or buying the magazines that are sold near our houses. We can not only be informed of general facts of their lives, but also of private things that easily come to light. As far as I am concerned, I do not believe this is right, because although they are people known by everyone, they have the right of keeping facts of their lives in privacy.

Firstly, we must be aware of the fact that all human beings have a right to privacy, so the press shouldn't publish things that celebrities don't want to. Of course they need publicity to remain in the public eye, but there must be some limits that shouldn't be crossed.

Secondly, it is known that constant attention from paparazzi and reporters can affect the mental health of a celebrity, so this is another good reason for the press to be careful while trying to find out about the latest gossips.

As I see it, the public has the right of knowing what is happening in celebrities' lives, but celebrities have a right to privacy, so there must be a balance between this in order to please everyone.
